✨A Nix Note✨

I am not your typical instructor, at least compared to many of the ones I've encountered in the years I've spent in spiritual and educational environments. I like a little more color and magic in my zone than what is often found in a university classroom, and a little less fanaticism/rules than what I've found in alternative spiritual sectors. Throughout my years, I have discovered that I am much more of an intellectual artist than any other label I have tried on...philosopher, teacher... although those certainly all exist within me. I've never had a taste for the norm, so as I move toward being completely free of the confines of the mundane, I continue to do my best to bring the whimsical, wisdom, and wonder into spaces ripe for a new paradigm. 

I grew up in a small conservative town and engaged in my fair share of farm work, but always possessed a craving for adventure and a desire to match my outer world to the imaginative and colorful one that swirled within me. Growing up poor, I found those adventures through imagination and in books. My life has been no stranger to hard work as I have climbed out of many ditches I dug for myself through self-destructive choices or out of those I was thrown into by others. You know the ones- addicted to their own narrative or misunderstanding despite the level of kindness and love you attempted to give. I better understand why now, as I understand what I was designed for. Yet, still today, I gravitate toward nature more than people and find that epic tales of love, adventure, and magic remain one of my favorite companions. 

My career path has led me through clinical, educational, and spiritual environments, contributing to my personal development in an enriching way. I continually seek the new, as I am driven by a desire to understand the unknown. Finding stagnation as a path to endless boredom, I am and will remain an instigator of growth and change, whether it is embarking on a new adventure, moving to a new location, or simply redecorating my home. I have constantly journeyed forward, mostly solo, while many of those I've known often remain in safety. It took time to understand that, despite the feeling of familiarity that many long to sustain, I could never remain in places where the light had dimmed, and fulfillment was absent. My time on Earth has been full of transition as if I have lived many lives within one, and though many may claim I have done so much, it seems as if my bucket list never shrinks in relation to my experience. Regardless of where I have ventured, my drive to seek authentic connections and expand my knowledge across multiple domains and alternate realms does not diminish. 

My desire to continuously learn and guide others in nontraditional ways that fulfill various creative pursuits will always be my preference. Beyond entertainment, connecting ideas across domains and learning through story has been a creative and effective guide, especially for those underexposed to adequate role models and proper developmental nourishment. Through the Light Warrior series and thoughts shared on my YouTube channel, Illuminated Actualization, my intention is to reach those of similar thought patterns as well as help others standing at the crossroads of transformation. As a note of encouragement from someone who has been no stranger to hard work, keep choosing you, no matter how many times you have to forget and then return, so you have the courage to express a little more of who you are with each passing day.
